Redwood Leaf and Hexagon Cast Shibuichi Pendant with NorCal Plasma Agate
Part of our new Northern California forest metal jewelry series, this stunning, rustic 3" x 1" pendant, cast from real foliage of the Coast Redwood tree, with a unique hexagonal bail and redwood leaf prong stone setting for green/brown local NorCal Plasma Agate hexagonal cabochon. Redwood (Sequoia semperviresn trees grace the Northern California coastal fog belt with their majestic height, being the tallest trees on earth. Most, unfortunately, have been cut down, but our pendant is made with leaves of second growth trees found growing in the SF Bay Area.
The pendant is cast using the lost wax process from Shibuichi, a traditional Japanese alloy of Copper and Silver, using metal recycled from the Silicon Valley e-waste stream by a local refiner. The necklace comes with your choice of length of recycled Sterling SIlver chain with clasp. The sharp tips of the redwood needles have been filed own to avoid catching on clothing or hair. Shipping from United States
We generally ship twice a week, at the beginning and end of each week, but this may vary due to volume of orders. Items ship on the next shipping day after the order is placed, with some exceptions. Please note that given shipping times reflect a "worse case" scenario. Some made to order items may require 1-2 weeks manufacturing time before shipment, thanks for understanding!
All domestic shipping shipping for wood, copper, and paper items and all international shipping done via USPS first class in reclaimed/upcycled, corrugated cardboard packaging, leading to lower shipping rates for lower cost items and international orders. Cost of domestic shipping for fine jewelry items includes USPS Priority Mail with a small charge for packing material.
Please note all shipping rates reflect a handling charge for packaging materials as well as time spent packing and shipping your order. All shipping labels are printed on 100% post-consumer recycled paper. All orders now shipping with free USPS tracking!
Please note we will no longer pay to re-send packages that have been returned to us due to being mis-addressed. You are responsible for ensuring that you provide the correct shipping address.
We are unable to guarantee delivery on a specific day. All standard shipping orders ship within one week and all priority shipping orders will ship in 3-4 business days at longest. Please contact us BEFORE placing your order if you would like express shipping or to receive your order by a certain date. Thanks!
Please note that some foreign countries may levy a customs tax on international shipments. This tax is payable to your local givernment and is not included in our shipping fees. We are not responsible for items being returned to us due to unpaid customs tax.
